| Fly Ash: |
The chemical and physical properties of fly ash improve many of the properties of concrete. Some of which include: workability & consolidation; which requires less vibration, increased flexural and compressive strength, improves pumpability, reduces drying shrinkage, reduces water requirements and so on. From a physical standpoint what is happening to your concrete is the fine fly ash particles, which are smaller then the cement particles, fill the interstitial voids in the concrete. |
| Rebar: |
Rebar is used as a concrete reinforcement. The most popular size used would be the 60 grade ½” Rebar. This comes in 20’ lengths and is a great way to reinforce your concrete for better quality and longevity. |
| Wire Mesh: |
Wire mesh is also used as a concrete reinforcement. It is in the form of welded wire reinforcement. Wire mesh is laid down on the prepared surface before placing the concrete. |
| Concrete Sealer: |
The sealer forms a membrane film which seals in and retains 97% of the hydration water to provide maximum hardness of the substrate, resistance to abrasion, damage caused by salt, oil, grease, mild acids and alkali, and stains from soot, smog, fumes and gases. Construction debris does not adhere to the concrete; cleanup is easier, less cost of labor. |
| Bright Seal: |
On exposed aggregate this sealer intensifies the color, and highlights the exposed aggregate and terrazzo, adds sparkle to the finished project. It also increases the aesthetic value and longevity. |
